Why Do I Love Grey's ?

I really need to get over my Grey's Anatomy addiction.

Really.

Although, I may be in too deep already.

I'm watching it now, even though I know I shouldn't. I mean McDreamy and McSteamy ? What the fuck is with that ? Why am I still watching this ? More red wine please. Quickly.

Maybe that's the root of the problem. Thursday is my night in, by myself, with a couple of glasses of red. It must be lowering my defences.

On the other hand it could be much, much worse. I could like Big Brother.

I always feel so out of it when people talk about these TV things. I can't even remember the last time I watched a prime time anything but I have heard that I am missing something with the "Grey" thing and may have to buy a season to find out what the hoopla is all about.

I think there is something soothing and comforting about our little rituals and appointments with nonsense. I myself plan my Tuesday evenings around "House" (Fox network, 8:00 PM central). My friend and his wife meet weekly in front of the TV during the first season of "Battlestar Galactica" (not the old '70s series, the updated, darker version). We all have our 'things'. Guilty pleasures are just that, things we feel guilty enjoying.

At lease you have the choice to watch it without a translation dictionary by your side....I swear I'm just going to buy the series on dvd....much more enjoyable that way...lol.x

Christine: I got hooked after finding the first season free on our tv on demand thingy while I was ill. Tread carefully.

Rimshot: I've seen some of House, as a Hugh Laurie fan of old I felt obliged to check it out. It has all the makings of a good guilty pleasure. The only thing it's missing for me is Mr Laurie's partner in crime Stephen Fry. Viva Jeeves and Wooster.

Pumpkin: I don't know . . . Grey's in a foreign language might be interesting.
